Guide: A Stress-Free Ride to Ben Gurion Airport

An early-morning flight, a return from a trip at an odd hour of the night, or simply not wanting to deal with airport parking - an organized shuttle to the airport is one of our most requested services, and there are a few things worth knowing to make it go completely smoothly.

How far ahead to book

In most cases you can arrange a ride to Ben Gurion Airport with a day or two's notice, but for busy dates (weekends, holidays, peak vacation periods) or very popular hours, it is best to book at least a week ahead to secure the vehicle and time that suit you. The earlier you book, the more flexibility you have in choosing the pickup time.

How to set the right pickup time

The usual recommendation is to arrive at Ben Gurion about three hours before an international flight (sometimes more in busy seasons), and one to two hours before a domestic flight. When booking, tell us your exact flight time and we will calculate the pickup time so you arrive comfortably, including a reasonable margin for traffic on Highway 1 or at the airport entrance.

What happens if your flight time changes

Flight times change all the time, so it is important to let us know as soon as you receive a notice of a change - whether the flight is earlier or later. The earlier we hear about it, the easier it is to reschedule the pickup without last-minute stress. Keep the driver's or the company's phone number handy on the day of travel.

What to arrange with the driver in advance

• The exact pickup address, including arrival notes if any (floor, entrance, gate)
• The number of passengers and the amount of luggage, to make sure the vehicle fits
• A phone number you can be reached at on the day, even if it differs from the one given when booking
• The departure terminal, if known in advance

A good airport shuttle is one you almost forget about - you arrive on time, without the stress of parking or public transport, and can focus on your flight.
