Planning a day trip for a group - colleagues from work, an extended family outing or a whole school class? Before booking, it is worth pausing to compare the two main options: going in several private cars, or booking one minibus or bus from a shuttle company.

What happens when you go in private cars

A group of 15-20 people usually means 4-5 separate cars. That means the group is split up for most of the day, every driver has to find the way on their own, and fuel and parking costs add up for each car separately - sometimes at sites with expensive or limited parking. At the end of a long day, someone still has to drive back tired, and a breakdown in one car can disrupt the trip for the whole group.

What changes with an organized shuttle

When the whole group travels together in one vehicle, you can sit, chat, enjoy the view and even nap on the way back - without anyone being responsible for the wheel. The professional driver drops the group as close as possible to each destination, so there is no need to worry about parking at every stop. Coordinating times is also simpler, because one party knows the route in advance.
